SAVING A SEASON!

The Keene Flying Knights of the New Hampshire Youth Football and Spirit Conference were able to save the football season for 4 players whose Massachusetts team was disbanded after playing two games and going 2-0. The player's former team had players leave to play for the local high school leaving the Pop Warner team with an insufficient number of roster players to continue for the season. This would have meant the end of football for these players.

The parents of the displaced players contacted John Cunningham president of the Keene association to inquire about any openings on his Midget team. The timing was perfect according to Keene president John Cunningham as this is the last week to add players for the 2005 season and his Midget roster had openings.

The NHYFSC weighted and completed all paperwork on Tuesday and the players have been rostered and will be playing this Sunday for the Keene Knights.
